Last night when I was meeting my 16 yo dogsitter at the bus stop as she was coming home from seeing her boyfriend, I knew they'd had a fight but I didn't know what about so I asked. She trusts me completely, and told me that a couple weeks ago they'd been drinking some (I don't approve but her trusting me is important to me so I've only told her not to drink when she's watching Uzie), she'd had 4 beers and pretty much passed out, she's a small girl. She remembered coming home to her bf's but nothing else, however when she woke up she was naked and the sheet under her... well, you know, was wet and sticky. It took her a while to drum up the courage to ask her bf what happened, and he told her that she'd thrown herself at him begging to have sex in the middle of the night. At first she felt embarrassed at this cos he portrayed her as some sex-crazed girl, but then she started thinking about it and the more she thought about it the more certain she became that he was lying. She didn't remember any of it but she's just not a person to do that kind of thing, she has had sex with her bf (they were together for almost a year) but this is NOT a thing she would do.
So, she pressed the subject more and more with him and finally he confessed to having taken advantage of her when she was out cold! She was so upset naturally, and broke up with him on the spot. Now I just wanna kill him but I don't know where he lives. He hurt my little Linda!!! Asshole!

Anything like this happen to anybody you know?

It's both mind blowing and incredibly sad how many people I know that were molested in their childhood.

she should journal all of this for herself
and perhaps in the near future she could face charging him with sexual assult

Yes, I think she'll stay away. She's on the pill, and with the amount of time they've been spending together he won't have had time to boff somebody else. I will ask her about reporting it to the police but I don't think she'll want to do it cos she doesn't want her parents to know. I can see why too in a way, even though they've raised 3 teenagers before they have a not so good sense of what being in your teens is like. I'll watch over her though.

if nothing else journaling it all might still help her process all of her feelings
it's that tricky age - old enough for shit to happen and still young enough that it can mess you up

Today I took her to the rape clinic here, it's the only one in Sweden. I told her I wanted her to see a counsellor and then make up her mind if she wanted to report it. The counsellor said exactly what you're saying and what I've told Linda too, that he'll go on doing this to others if she lets him get away with it. She was with the counsellor for a good 90 mins, and they got my address instead of her parents' and they said it's very common for the younger girls not to want to tell the parents and that they respect her privacy which I think is good. I will try to get her to tell her parents but like I said before I understand why she doesn't.

something like this happened to my sister a few years ago. surprisingly it was another female that did it and she got away with it. my sister was afraid to report it because she thought no one would believe her since it was another female instead of a male.

On another note: may I ask how a person passes out after only 4 beer? She had to have really been a lightweight, because I myself weigh less than 100 lbs and can drink more than that and still be relatively okay.

Beer affects everyone differently. Some folks can drink hard liquor with no problem but beer wastes them. She may have an allergy to it and not know.
