Do you want to DANCE?!? Growing up in Boston, as a young man, one thing above all others that I liked to go was go out to a dance club and dance. Moving one's body to the motion of the music, is quite the spiritual for of expression. I would go to the clubs ever chance I got. Some people I went with, when for drinks, or to have a hook up or meet people, but not me.
I went to dance. I got so good at it, I was thinking I should go profestional. But I was too short said the inside critique. There were many many people at that club and alot of faces I got to know. We would all walk around that club looking for a "dance off", and then we would get it on. Compeating if only in our minds, and for the enjoyment of the on lookers around us, we would show off our best moves. One thing I learned quickly enough, because I am a smart whip besides a smart ass is that the best of abilities couldn't compeat with orignallity and abilitiy to change the moves and cycle through dance steps. After a while, I got bored because too many of them fools would just do the same shitty steps week after week, or at best have learned something of the televsion. Not me, I was always looking for something new, making up my own steps no one had seen before. Maybe that's why all eyes were on me and not them. I recall this one time, I would bust a move and a talentless dance would do the popeye. I do another move and the fool would do the popeye. after about several cycles of that, I got discused and walked off. after all the popeye is a easy couple of moves. I wonder if he actually thought he won or if he just wanted to dance with me. Do you Dance? News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

However if you are like me you can't help bust out into dance at home. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

Dancing is very spiritual to me. It has brought me to tears before. I love House music. The soulful funky kind. I go out every Sunday. My favorite D.J. was tearing it up. We were yelling and shouting at him, the crowd was going nuts.
He busted out with a House version of THE DANCE. It was flawless. I'm sure Prince will not give him permission to release it, just like his version of ADORE, another great House version. Oh man you shouldn't have made this thread.
I miss dancing SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO much! I haven't done it in about 5 years. I used to record EVERY new dance routine and practice learning it in the basement. I wore tapes out from rewinding and playing them. I would stay up all night practicing. Any kind of dance too, not just hip hop. I keep watching that SYTYCD routine from last week on Youtube, but they just removed it though. Maybe I was watching it too much. But that's gonna be the first thing I get back into after I move. and I can't stand Wade Robson. I can't tell you why, but something about him urks me. I'm not gonna get into it. That's a whole 'nuther thread. Lance is SO a bottom
