Is there anyone else who thinks that Dane Cook just isn't that funny? I really WANT to think he's funny - I love it when someone can make me laugh. But, I honestly think he's a fairly poor comedian... I dunno, some of his jokes are just so basic, etc... Like he'll simply make up his own way of saying a word (ie "sangwich" instead of "sandwich") and he thinks it's great and keeps saying it over and over (then he'll use a call-back and be like, "oh, I gotta take off for the night! you guys have been great! I'm off to go eat a sangwich!! hahah!!") and I just roll my eyes...
Maybe I just haven't seen the good stuff yet, but I just don't find him that entertaining.... | |

He's the new "hot comic" apparently... his second album got to the #4 spot or something on the Billboard chart (which I guess hasn't been done by a comedy album for like 20 years or something).... Anyways, he's just not that funny in my book...I rarely find myself laughing at his stuff... | |

I've liked him for a while but sometimes he reminds me of Jim Carrey.

Oh hell yeah, he's fucking overrated. I mean, some of his material has garnered a laugh from me, but the pub he gets would make you believe he's the second coming of Jesus in the stand up comedy world.
There are plenty other guys that are way funnier. | |

I think he's funny. His views on women are pretty accurate. But he did not deserve to host SNL yet. | |
