Ok, It is Official! I simply cannot play basketball on concrete or asphalt anymore.... 
I played in two tournaments the past two weekends over here and I just can't do it. I mean I "can" but the pain and stiffness is just way too much to bear anymore and so unnecessary. It is nothing but indoor and wood for this old man!! Damn....I remember running and jumping like there was no tomorrow....well...TOMORROW IS HERE LIKE A MOTHAFUCKA!!! I can still play on tough surfaces, but it's harder on me than it used to be too. I love playing on courts though. Just dusted some fools last night!  Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you! | |

I hear ya. I used to shoot around every day on my patio and by the time I was 19 or 20 my knees were done for. I used to have a 30 something inch vertical leap too, but the last time I played here against a bunch of high school kids my knees just wouldn't carry me up and down the court, let alone jump like I wanted to. I'll be 25 later this month.  | |
