One of Captain's Mentors Passes Away No, not Admiral (I wish!)
It is with a heavy heart that I report that the CEO and founder of Hooters, Robert Brooks passed away this weekend. Hooters is the Captain's selection for greatest restaurant of all time and Brooks, who created the booby-themed restaurant in 1984, will be sorely missed. Brooks, appropriately enough, was 69 years old. The waitresses will be wearing their shirts at half-mast tonight...but sadly only in the Captain's dreams. On an related note, vote for me for August Male Org Hottie. Mr. Brooks would have wanted it that way.
