I'm thinking of starting to have a cleaning service

...come in and clean my place and clothes. It's so hard to get it done during the week with work and the kids.

I have reservations about someone washing my underwear though, is that weird?? confused

If I could afford it, I would TOTALLY do it. I abhor cleaning. And my place is tiny.

redface

But yeah, it would feel a little weird. confused

I don't think that is weird, What is weird is cleaning your house before the cleaning team comes by...that is what my Mother did.

As far as underwear...well, living with the Army means moving alot and I refuse to let the packers in my underwear drawer, Just the thought of a stranger handling my unmentionables gives me the HUZZ.

the only thing like that i have done is my laundry. i drop it off to be washed instead of doing it myself. i don't feel weird about other people handling my underwear - i mean, they can just dump the clothes in from the bag when everything's dirty, and by the time they fold it, everything's clean. i don't have any skidmarks or anything, so it's not like there's any shame in my game. shrug

That and I'm really particular about my laundry. I take care of my clothes, dammit. lol
But maybe they could do my dishes instead. lol

me either, but it just feels weird. They're nice underwear too, not bullshit vagabond clothes. I don't know, that would be weird too, the drawers only hamper. lol

Hell naw, I don't even let my mom fold my clothes when I do my laundry at my parents' house. Either I do it or it doesn't get done. hmph!

In fact, I don't like to let anyone do anything for me that I can't do myself. I'd rather break my back and feel like I accomplished something rather than have some good samaritan make my life easier. nuts

There is no way in hell I would want strangers going through my house, with all the naked pictures of myself I have laying around.

Me and a friend of mine who's also a SAHM talked about starting a cleaning service a couple times for Xtra cash.

And I don't think it's weird to wash someones underwear if their boxers, but tightie whities would be weird.

U should look in the paper. There's prob lots of ppl that do it on the side, cheap!

nod I can't even remember the last time my mom has done my laundry. I'm kinda funny about random people touching my personal belongings too, so that wouldn't work. Even though I hate cleaning the bathroom, I feel like no one cleans better than I do, and I'm germaphobic when it comes to cleaning. I use a different sponge for everything. That's why I go through them so fast. lol

my aunt does this and she also throws "princess parties" with a friend of hers. they travel all over the state for these parties and they make pretty good money. She also makes cookie baskets and pie platters for people during the holidays. She makes some of the best sweets ever.... drool anyway, that was a but of a tangent.

and she makes good money that way, too smile
