The Movie, "North Country"

thumbs up! or boo

I have it here at home and I'm bored. Great cast, love Charlize, Sissy and Frances, especially. But is it above average?

Above average? Nah.
It's an ok movie.
Frances McDormand was my favorite part of it, but I'm a big fan of hers. I was particularly interested in this movie for many reasons, it happened here in Minnesota, the whole women's aspect, etc.
But I really just found it mostly boring. neutral
I also watched it on an airplane. It was an ok flight, but I think I was preoccupied trying to watch it.

Is it kind of a re-hash of the "woman's fight" thing? Do you think it would've been better if you weren't watching it in flight? I'm always distracted by that.

It is kind of a re-hash. And I think my experience maybe would have been different had I gone to see it in a theatre vs. a flight, yes.
