I heard the original version had a different ending, but the US release changed the ending around. I downloaded this last night and watched it but I am not sure which version I saw, anyone else seen this yet?

Great movie, very tense and nerve-wrecking. There's one scene where I was actually turning my head away from the TV because it was freaking me out, LOL.

Ewww, this film FREAKED ME OUT. Why the hell anyone would want to crawl around in little tunnels beneath the earth is beyond me, but finding what was down there - YIKES!

I thought it was a really good film and not cheesy like most horrors are. NOt sure about the different endings though..

Was the scene you are talkinga bout right at the beginning when they get to the chalet?

The scene that freaked me out was with the girls leg. I was almost ready to fast forward through it, it was making me so uncomfortable. The scene at the beginning though caught me off guard too, I spilled my drink when that happened LOL.

I'm hoping what I saw was the original ending, since it hasn't hit the theatres in the US yet, so the copy I downloaded was probabbly ripped from the DVD. It was really ambiguous about what really happened though.

Well first they show her climb out and escape, and she drives down the street and sees her friend in the car. Then they cut to her waking up back in the cave, and she sees her daughter with a birthday cake, i guess implying that she didn't really escape, she was hallucinating.

Do you know I think the version I saw was a bit different... Didn't the one that slept with her husband get them all down there on purpose or something so she killed her and then got out?

I saw this and it was OK. I won't give it all away. But to me the freaky part was just getting trapped down there and the clausterphobia. And then they make it into this other thing that I was not expecting..nor wanting. My friend swore up and down over this movie. For me it has a few flaws.

One you are introduced to a bunch (at least 5 or 6)of girls and it's hard to tell what's happening to whom, as they all have similar voices and it is dimly lit.

Two the believeable plot of entrapment and survival sinks into a "monster" movie when it didn't need it

The end I saw was wierd. One is led to believe that she thinks she escaped, but she really didn't.

Not the one I saw. Well maybe. I recall that one of them didn't take them to the descent they thought they were going to, and instead took them to an uncharted one. See and that's what doesn't make sense. You would never jepordize your friends life nor your own for a thrill? Esp since this was a "healing" of sorts for one of the gals?

The makers of Saw did this one right? After those two god awful movies, I'm not sure if I wanna spend money on this one. I might just sit this one out and wait for the dvd.
