Breakfast On Pluto...

I rented and watched this moive last night. It was a very cute story, and I strongly say it's worth renting.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

It was that actor that stared in "28 Days Later" although you wouldn't know it. The story is a biography of this transvestite homosexual, however it isn't nasty.

I really liked this movie when I saw it last year. It's extremely quirky and, imo, is actually quite a bit better than the book it is derived from... Kitten is such a fabulous character.

LOL You know, Sos, I've heard more than one person say that about this film but to be honest, the pacing and presentation didn't bother me at all (but don't mind me, I enjoy such languid dramas like Howard's End). ...and considering the book that inspired it, the screenplay is positively lively and lucid. lol

Of course, I look at this movie as more of a 'character piece'. I enjoy it more for the actors, the roles they play, and their interactions with one another. The plot, etc, is just the backdrop.

Oh I love Howards End...Pluto was just too all over the place for me to care for any of what was going on...it was just situation after situation...it would have been great if Jordan played it campy...but the tone played to straight that i couldnt take it for humor...it was all too distracting for me to ever care.
