i've been lookin it up with little joy
but i think it wud depend on where ur well
water cums from an if its near the pollution.

but i ave just read this if it helps i dont
know

Typically, groundwater is naturally clean and
safe for consumption. Because the overlying soil
acts as a filter

Surface drainage should be directed away from the
well casing, and surface water should not collect
near the well. The well itself should not be located
downhill from any source of pollution.

It isn't for wells unless water is draining from the back yard into the well.

You shouldn't need to boil it unless you live downhill from a cemetary. Corpse juice in water doesn't taste good barf

You might want to boil the water you're going to drink just in case. You never know... everyone should keep a suuply of bottled water for emergencies.

Shoulda made him drink it first. Buy bottled water, or boil the water you got

that's not saying much as most bottled water is contaminated.

i would bet that your well water is actually cleaner than the bottled store bought water.

in fact, you could probably sell your well water in a bottle at the supermarket and make a killing.
