What creative endeavor are you most proud of? In your long list of artistic accomplishments, what project are you most proud of and why? What was most meaningful to you personally? Was it a song, a performance, a drawing...? Tell us your success story!

I've taken a few pictures I'm pretty proud of, but if I have to select one thing then it's probably a short film that I wrote and directed and that ended up pretty damn close to what I had intended (which is amazing considering that we had almost no budget, no time and a million problems along the way).
I'm also quite proud of some of the long stories I wrote before my teenage years. I had an amazing creative discipline back then, way more than I have now. [Edited 7/24/06 21:33pm]

i made my son a bed. i could not afford to get him one at the time so i used 'fee cards' that were issued to us in art class, purchased some wood and made him a full size bed in the woodshop at school. i felt really good about that when i was finished. my baby has a place to lay his head [Edited 7/24/06 21:36pm]

My work is creative, I find nothing in particular stands out really - it's all of a reasonable standard. I can't charge the same to everyone and some get a masterpiece and others get a piece of crap
I am not very creative outside of my work really braindead

[Edited 7/24/06 21:36pm] Wow, I'm impressed! Carpentry is not a skill you can just pull out of your sleeve. i enjoy it alot. i've only been into for about 4 years, i pick up how to make things along the way and do it in a way that i can understand and in my own style. its very satisfying to see the end result of an idea.

My senior year I submitted a few poems to my school's creative writing/art magazine, and one ended up being put into our yearbook. That was pretty neat But more than that poem, I love the ones I hide away in notebooks that are too personal to ever share.

every morning when i wake up and go to the bathroom, even from that moment i have started creating... sometimes it feels like my head will explode, i just have so many ideas... if i didn't get it all out of my system regularly... well i don't know.. i might be even less normal than i am
but anyway... several of my songs i am quite proud of... certain gigs i have played... performing in front of thousands at disneyland when i was 15... . [Edited 7/24/06 21:59pm]

As I said on another thread (sorry if you've heard this), mine was a 17-minute quadraphonic radio play I wrote, directed, edited and produced called Dreaming Fire. It felt like me, so authentic to who I am, who I want to be. It was highly imaginative and everyone who heard it LOVED it! I don't think I've ever pleased an audience or myself more than with that piece.

I once filled the teachers office with toilet paper. They couldn't get in to get rid of the stuff.

I created a user interface for a perfusionist system used in open heart surgery...it was the first UI I ever worked on. I had to come up with intuitive icons, color schemes, technical illustrations and alert systems that a perfusionist could understand and react to instantly. It hit me that my graphic design skills were being put to use to save lives...still proud of that fact.

The goth fanzine my friends and I published back in the 90s. I was the art guy of course and I made that thing look good considering it was a crappy fanzine.
