Ebert gave it 2 as well as the SF chronicle. Both said it's a pretty lifeless action flick (as evidenced byt he heavy metal sndtrk in the commercials)
I just don't see the reason for this movie. Superman 1 & 2 were all that really mattered. The rest sucked! I dunno I loved the originals...they were majestic, humorous and down to earth. Christian Zombie Vampires | |

from what i read, Bryan Singer made a drama movie with a superhero in it, as opposed to a superhero movie with some drama in it. 2 1/2 hours with minimal action.
