i love how they're leading up to the installment with the lizard (or at least, they'd BETTER be). but after that, who are they going to have as the bad guy? madame web? master blaster? why do they always have to kill off the villains in superhero movies, anyway? | |

BTW, I always thought Sandman was a high school bully of Peter Parker's. Does his origin depend on which Spiderman comic you are reading? Also, I like that last shot of the twin Spideys.  | |

The vampire guy is Dr. Michael Morbius. He wasn't a true vampire. I think he injected a serum that gave him vampire-like characteristics. Sandman was a mob enforcer. In the comics, he could alter his size. At max density, his strength is close to the Hulk's. | |

Peter changes into Spider-Man, and manages to defeat Sandman by trapping him in a vacuum cleaner. He eventually returns, joining the first Sinister Six team under Doctor Octopus. Spider-Man again defeats Marko several times, and giving up, Marko tries to fight against other superheroes, such as the Hulk and the Fantastic Four, founding the original Frightful Four.
