As an aside, I've one older sister; one younger brother -- both heterosexual.

I was born gay... it just came naturally to me. i was attracted to particular other boys when I was a child long before I knew why...and in middle school started having seriously sexual dreams about another guy in my class. They were surprising to me at the time but, also, hot as f*ck!

So if i read this correctly, the womb has some sort of reserved nurtient that after a couple of male babies pop out, it turns the next ones gay?

I've got one older sister and one older brother.

My sister's married and my brother... I don't know what the hell he is. He'll be 40 this year and he's still living at home. That wouldn't be so bad if he had plans to move out but my poor mother will still be looking after him when he's 65 years of age. I'm not even sure what sexuality he is. Closet gay? Asexual? He's a bit of an oddball.


In answer to jersey's question, I couldn't tell you when I knew exactly but - like others have said - I always knew there was something different. And everyone else spotted it before me; from about the age of 6 or 7. And I must've been in complete denial during my teens because every Sunday I would go to church and pray 'Look after my mother. Look after my Gran. Please don't make me gay'. That worked.

That, and loads of other tell-tale signs, would indicate I was probably born this way.

You people aren't interpreting the statistics properly.

This article is merely pointing out tendencies; it does not purport to be making rules. The studies find that males are more likely to be gay if they have several older brothers. That doesn't mean that if a guy has 10 older brothers, he's bound to be gay. Nor does it pretend to outrule the possibility of a first boy being gay.
