You have to be a pretty cold blooded person to be able to shoot animals.

That's true. I agree. And I'm surrounded by them.

Sounds good but my husband and I are sort of seperated.. kind of.. difficult situation right now. I had a hard time dealing with being a lone for Christmas -New Years last year. If we are still together this year during hunting season I will let you know. I will probably have to stay here anyways to take care of dogs & house and work.. Well- Spats there are different types of hunters. My husband does not go out to kill an animal- most years he does not get one of his own. He likes to hike and drive the deer to the other hunters. I can kind of understand that he enjoys going up and hiking and he was raised doing it. I could not do it myself

I hate that I have 2 babies and I have to basically do all the Christmas-ey stuff with them w/out their dad. But yeah, my hubby likes the hunt more than the actual kill too. It's a PA thing.

For trophies, yes I totally agree, but for meat I think it's much more ethical than going to the supermarket to buy farm raised meat. Hunted animals get to live natural lives for a while. Plus you get a better appreciation of what's involved in getting meat to the table. My Legacy
