The ones I have aren't very tangy, they're actually quite sweet. A friend thought they tasted like a flower should. lol.

apparently like this:

"It is juicy for sure, yet it holds together well. It has sections, like citrus, but without the section-skin... The fruit is opaque white and tastes like... intense citrus/vit. C sort of fruit thing with a tad of it's own taste. It is delicious and intensely full of flavor for sure."

dragon fruit is nice, especially with chocolate bavarois smile

but it doesn't have a really strong distinct flavor, it is
a bit bland imo.

Jelly, eh? Not really my thing. They have lychee flavoured hard candy over here though which is fantastic. And fresh lychee is one of my favourite fruits. nod

Another exotic fruit I picked up not long ago was the kiwano . It looks great, but then I googled it and found this: http://www.obsess.com/fruit/kiwano confused I did taste it anyway, but I must say that the reviewer had a point.

Those are awesome! They sell little cartons of them for about $1 US in Germany. I like to put them in the fridge, so when you peel them and pop them in your mouth you get a nice cool burst of nature's sunshine!

eek ...oh my, I must be feeling very hippie-ish today... lol
