Anyone on a aspirin regiment? I'm thinking of starting one after seeing a show on aging. They state that inflamation is the cause of many diseases, since the real problem is inflammation and taking aspirin can decrease this. One of the indicators for inflammation is C-reactive protein.
I read in Fortune Magazine that studies are coming out indicating many of the ailments associated with aging (diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s etc) can be slowed by eliminating the inflammation. It seems that cholesterol is not as detrimental as this inflammation. What do you think? Worth a try? No More Haters on the Internet.

my mother is on the regiment.
I would say it is totally worth the try. Unfortunally for me, I can't be bothered to remeber to take a vidermin each day. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I don't know what "good" your show was expressing about doing very little of. However, all I do know is that vitamins make me feel good. Feeling good is good. If I forget to take my vitamins for too long, I start eating all the time, and feeling rundown. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

if it's the only the inflamation you want to keep in check
you could also make do with garlic, lemons, parsley or any other of the dozens of anti-inflamatory vegs and herbs out there. plus, when eaten whole or juiced, these wholefoods, or herbs attribute to your overall health in more ways and instead of just controling or taking away inflamation they also release anti-oxidants into your system and benefit an entire scala of other ailments as well. the asperin thing sounds tempting, though, i have thought about it myself but it just seems like too much of a risk in the long run i think. i wouldn't feel comfortable with a regimen like that. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

It thins the blood and increases your risk of bleeding to death in an accident or whatnot, so I think it's generally not a good idea unless you've got some reason to believe you're at an elevated risk, at least until you hit a certain age. Best to keep inflammation low by living a healthy lifestyle. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!
