Well, I'm doing my best to treat my "babe" like a queen. That helps.

Define treating them like a Queen. I don't kiss ass and give them whatever they want.

You know, Spats, I think for a lot of us it's the little things. She loves chocolate covered almonds, so today I put a handful of them in a bowl on top of a little note with a lipstick kiss on it. Her car has been in the shop, so I've been giving her rides.

And it's very mutual. . . she likes to cook, so she has been bringing me lunch. For example.

Well, there is only so much i am going to do to soften her up. I can't bring myself to treat any woman like a queen.

Update:

So, part of the fun of a crush thing is trying to figure out whether or not it's mutual, right? The other day she and I were talking about long-distance relationships, which I've had a couple of, and she's had none of. I was saying that one of the upsides is that pretty much any time you have sex it's like vacation sex (ie. super extra awesome). So, today, she comes over to me out of the blue and in this low voice is like, "I've been thinking about how I need some of that vacation sex we were talking about." And she smiles. And I'm going .

Before I could say anything we got interrupted, but later I said something like, "so, you're thinking that this long-distance relationship thing might be for you, eh?" and she says, "well, the vacation sex part. . . wouldn't have to be VERY long distance. . .across town would be fine." (I suppose it goes without saying that she and I live across town from each other). At which point I'm having a fucking heart attack.

It could all just totally be conversaion. I have no idea if she was flirting with me or not. But you know I wanna think so.
