I was watching Revenge of the Sith again and thought that Georgie should remake his 1st 3 Star Wars films. It would make bookoo money and it would be cool to see who would play Luke, Leia, Han, and Lando in the remakes. The interest from fans will be there, I think he should do it, especially with digital being available now.

And here are just a couple of reasons why.

Firstly, with CGI and such advances in the cinomagrapic arts, He would better able to truly discribe his vision.

And, you can't watch the first 3 parts with the middle 3 parts because of the diffrences in Filming techinques.

Though he should stay away from having people like tom crews or that guy that played Neo in the matirx from playing luke... if you know what I mean. Casting would be crutial.

as boris said, he should take the basic storyline of the Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn and write screenplays for VII VIII and IX

or just write a different 7,8 and 9 completely on his own, set before or after the Thrawn trilogy

I mean, sure you can watch the originals if you don't like the remakes, and of course any remake could never make the actual original films worse, but it could sour their legacy. For example, all these horror remakes. Some young 'uns don't even know about the original movies and that the films they've seen are actually remakes. Often the remakes are rubbish and so the originals are sullied in a way.

Personally I don't think it'd be worth the effort to remake these movies. To make a Prince analogy, it'd be like replacing the Revolution with better musicians. The chemistry and timing are a large part of what made Star Wars (and the Revolution) so great. That's something you can't reproduce. However, I don't think it would affect my appreciation of the originals so it wouldn't bother me. I'd probably go see it just to see what it was like.

He should totally remake all 6 of them, but let Ridley Scott direct and rewrite the story a bit.
