I'm so sorry for you Aussies! The Italian victory was completely undeserved.

sad
I think I would've preferred if we went out by Italy actually scoring a goal without this penelty thing.
Oh well.....the Aussies have copped bad decissions throughout all their games and I'm not surprised with this last one. confused

We had Krispy Kremes while we watched at least cry some consolation

As a bitter scotsman who hates all nations partaking in the World Cup, I have to admit I do feel sympathy for the Australians. Harsh.

WTF, Ghana is controlling the game and creating a gazillion chances and yet it is Brazil that is in the lead by two friggin' goals at half time. pissed

Big thumbs-up to Australia and Ghana! Both Italy and Brazil did not deserve to go through, IMO.

Mate, I was taken aback somewhat by Henry's reaction neutral I wouldn't have expected that from a player of his calibre sad

I just wished they'd have given Joaquin more of a run in the competition to torment defences with his genuine wing wizardry.

shrug

Yeah, that was terrible by Henry. We got a big french supporter at work, and we were running up to him, pretending to be hurt in the eye, to piss him off, but he was happy. lol

Ghana were great at passing, but absolutely crap when it came to shooting. Really appalling. The Holland and Portugal match was a disgrace, but it sure was funny aswell.

Iam gonna have to miss a couple of games due to work mad

I feel u. It feels really cool that u like football. Out of everyone on here, to see an american, with as much passion as u, is really nice to see as i know u probably cant discuss this sorta thing at work or with ur mates like "us" can. Ur really into it. Its great to see.

Iam working throughout saturday. Iam gonna have to miss the first half of the England game i think mad I could just pull a sickie, but we have all be warned what will happen if we do (possible suspension confused )

I think we actually have a good chance against Portugal. And its payback time from the euro championchips 2 years ago. But if we win, we'll probably get Brazil in the semi's neutral

The Brazil VS France game, damn, what a match that'll be. Ole' grandpa Zidane showed the world how it can still be done with his goal against Spain. Last time they met was in france 98, and we all know what happened that game. What a fight that should be biggrin

if the lady would know anything about it and had seen the game, she would have known that it's certainly not a victory for Portugal to be proud of!

the players were on the field for 100 minutes, of which only 52 minutes the ball was played.....due to portuguese theatre-play it was impossible for the dutch to get back into the game.....the ref let it happen! Disgrace! mad
