I'm going to an INTERVENTION tomorrow evening Would should I expect? I don't even know why I should go, but apparently I'm the only person this guy talks about with his family (he's a work colleague) and has a slight alcohol problem (slight as in banned from driving). I knew he had a problem, but I always thought he was one of those mildly entertaining border-line alcoholics, kind of like Homer Simpson. So, what does one do at these events? Should I take wine? Wer ist dort? Unterbrechende Kuh. Unterbrech... Muh!!!

Make sure you turn up really sloshed so you help take the heat off him. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

We (the guys at work) normally go for a drink after a work, I may invite the guy with the "problem". But I must remember not to tell him about the surprise later in the evening Wer ist dort? Unterbrechende Kuh. Unterbrech... Muh!!!
