Yeah it was dead already.. but I nearly just massacred this poor dickie bird in the garden.. it would have been a bloody, feathery scene had I not been overly alert..

I was cutting the grass, you see.. minding my own business, and rammed the lawn mower under a tree , and was about one inch from a dead bird lying there.

Thank God I didnt run it over.. there would have been blood and guts and feathers and shit clogging up my lawn mower..

..and I wouldnt like to clean that up either..

..and I would have had nightmares for a month or more..

Phew!

Mind you, I couldnt save the lil live mouse I sucked up in my vaccuum cleaner a few years ago.. now that was unforgettable..

I saved a lil' snail's life two days ago!
He was on our stairs after an all-night long raining. So I picked him up before someone stepping on him.

I saved a snail the other week, it was just sat in the pathway, so I lifted it onto the grass, so nobody would stand on it, but this poor lil snail was suicidal, and he slithered back onto the pathway..
