I know. My housemate is currently doing her Master's which means a LOT of course work, practical work, placements, etc.. She's constantly busy, bless her.

I always feel guilty (and relieved) when she gets home after being in the library until 9pm or something.

Her: In the bloody library.

Me: I've, erm, um, ah, been reading/watching tv/made some food/chatting to mates/just got in/insert something lazy here.


I'd love to be a student again in some ways. Just don't give me the work.

my field was almost purely practical, and having a whole year to complete a project just doesn't suit me - I now do a project of similar nature/size within hours or days. I HATED stuffing around reworking and rearranging things just to fill the timeframe bloody hopeless.
