Say hello to the blue angel!

This is my 14 week old kitten, Mia, in her favourite spot.

She's a beautiful Russian Blue. mushy

I've never heard of that breed before.
I'm very partial to Siamese cats. I like their distinctive meow (much much different from other cats), and their dog-like personalities, as well as their look. I also love black cats with green eyes.

But your cat is very very pretty. That's a terrific picture.
I love the color, the face, and they eyes. Oh. and you have a nice facial profile and lips too. shrug

Just put Russian Blue in google and it will tell you all about them. They are a rare breed and absolutely adorable.

I used to get teased as a kid about my lips but as an adult I've found they are much more popular! wink

It's a whole wheat sandwich with tuna (in chili) and lettuce. I credit the org with my move to much more healthy bread choices! biggrin

p.s Russian Blues are pure bred and are not cheap (cost me $500 AUSD) but are WELL worth it. nod

I'm willing to spend around 500 us dollars for a cat so long as it #1) comes from a breeder and not a store, and #2) has it's papers and shots.
Even though non pure-breed domestics are nice, I'd prefer something that was pure breed, and NOTHING from a factory.

I really would like a dog becuase of their personalities but I love the independence of cats. They are very affectionate despite people's perception that they are not, but they take care of themselves in ways dogs could never do. I can leave a cat at home while I go to work and not worry that the poor thing is freaking out.

I was teased about my ears and lips in school so comfort

Well, I highly recommend the Russian Blue breed. The pure breds are ONLY available from breeders and come with the papers. They are very affectionate and no-fuss. My kitty is 14 weeks old and you can go out most of the day and it doesn't faze her, she's just happy to see you when you get home. She is great with kids too!
