This was a double blow for Knick fans. We have our worst season ever, and we have to watch Pat the Rat win a title with our hated rival. Sucks
Poor Avery...I'll bet he feels like Mike Holmgren right now. The officiating was ridiculous, especially Game 5. It was Kings-Lakers all over again. As NBA columnist Mitch Lawrence said, the refs gave Wade the Jordan treatment. | |

As NBA columnist Mitch Lawrence said, the refs gave Wade the Jordan treatment. now, uPtoWnNY . . . I know it's tough dealing with Riles holding the title. I know that the officiating -- especially that call on Dirk in Game 6 guarding Wade -- was spotty. It was throughout the entire series. But enough about the Kings-Lakers, as if that series came down to one-sided officiating in one game. The Kings lost their home opener by double-digits. They blew a 30-point lead in the second half of Game 4. And they missed a dozen or so FTs in regulation in Game 7, and lost Game 7, on their home floor, in OT, after they talked all that ish at the beginning of the season about beating the Lakers if they got to 7 on their floor. And that doesn't count the fact that Bryant got sick after Game 1, and that Shaq fouled out, in OT, on a questionable call, in Game 5. I hope the Mavs don't whine and moan like the Kings did after that series. The Kings never recovered from it and they had no one but themselves to blame.
