You know I've been watching alot of old movies here lately and I've come to the conclusion that "Menace 2 Society" is the most ghettoest (if that's a word) movie ever!! The movie shows alot of realistic things, but it undoutedly deserves the name . What do you think? What other movies have content that could fit this category? (Not meant to offend anyone)

On the other side of the coin, I could add scenes from "8 Mile" to this list-I'm originally from D-town, so it's okay. Still love Eminem, but the movie does have some bad points .

Why? I say "ghetto" to mean any movie that fits that description. It's not meant to mean just African-American movies. Hell, I'm African-American and any movie can be bad as most of them are. It's not meant to be offensive and quite frankly some of the movies that have been mentioned like "Dead Presidents" are really good movies and are not worthy of this name . Sure, there are so many, but trashy movies like "Another Teen Movie" qualify for this category and not all movies with African-American actors are considered ghetto. In my opinion, the movie "Poetic Justice" was also a great movie and someone earlier said this movie was "ghetto" when in actuality it is a good movie. It's all in a person's perspective. I would never disrespect African-American actors by saying every movie they work on is ghetto. That's ridiculous. Every actor at one point and time has done a bad movie .It's not a white or black thing-it's not meant to be. If a movie is trash, then so be it regardless of who the actor or actress may be.
