"Facts Of Life" Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD Anyone else buy it? It's without a doubt one of the best shows out there...so far every episode has been about something real and I'm kind of surprised this show wasn't more controverisal with the topics it dealt with.

It was good and I watched it until the end. They used to show reruns of it all the time.

I think we will be buying this. It's just such a good show. If they get the whole series out, I may pass on the "over our heads" seasons cos it was pure schlocks then, but the early years were SO GOOD.

Now, unfornately, they don't, so I wouldn't be surprised if the set sells really well and hopefully there will be another one out before the years end.

If you're going to buy it, buy it now (FYE.com has it for $20.99 online after a rebate....I probably paid about that much too). Yes, like nearly all tv shows on DVD lately, the series is coming out (so far) in seasons, with seasons one and two on one set since they were shortened. What do you mean about the "Over Our Heads" seasons? If anything, the later seasons were silly as hell (shlocky is a better description). I mean, Stacey Q was a guest star.....twice! It just became a silly eighties show, although I guess there were still some facts of life going on since the girls were growing up into women (hell, that show could still go on today with the women being married, divorced, etc.). I think I would buy them all, though.

The girl who played "Blair" was hot. The others were all ugos. But the show went down hill when they moved into that store and gained weight.
