I've just read a great book called ''EASYWAY TO CONTROL ALCOHOL''by Allen Carr. It is fantastic....and no I am in no way involved with the publising of this book or it sales.... IT WILL CHANGE YOU'RE LIFE !

Not unless the Baileys & ice cream I had a few hours ago qualifies

NO ... though I know many who do have problems with it

He based the quit smoke method on his own personal experiences but isn't he just trying to cashing in now with this book. I guess it's just based around his addiction model.

It would be interesting if someone stepped up with some honesty and admitted that they have this problem. I used to have huge problems with alcohol. At my craziest I was drinking about 20 beers a day....and I weighed 118! That was in the height of my abusive relationship and I definitely was drinking to escape. When I left, I realized I no longer had the reason to drink myself into oblivion.

I still drink but I have a limit and I never go over it, ever. I get a buzz but I don't get drunk and I can wake up in the morning and function. Not like before when alchohol controlled me.

I sure do, two hands and only one mouth.

I know this guy who got really drunk and got a Yankees tattoo. He's from New Jersey, I think.

Not many alcoholics here... But judging by recent threads plenty of assoholics. Will this book help with that?
