BTW, have you guys noticed that the eighties style is so coming back? Like skinny jeans and pants with over sized shirts?

YES! Let's bring the entire damn decade backkkkk!!!!

As far as stores... hmmm... really don't have a "favorite," but I go in H&M and Bloomingdales a lot.

Barneys New York is great to look around (and buy elsewhere!)

I shop on-line for clothes.

Lately it's all Target and Old Navy. pout
But for a good reason. All my old clothes are too big on me. And it's the cheapest way to slowly replace my wardrobe and still look decent.

LOL the storez i shop at you don't get much outside Australia lol

I tend to get quite a few thingz from Bardot, Lolitta (both owned by same company!), here and there i'll get stuff from Kookai...a place called Quick Brown Fox...I love to go where there'z a sale- the other month I bought a toffee coloured 50s style dress with boning through the bodice- it was by Marcs and it cost me only $47!! It would have cost between $150 and $300. I need a few casual topz for winter actually. Casual but trendy! I've got a look in mind so let's see what I can get. hmmm

eBay is your friend.

Look at this Lacoste sweater: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BNW...dZViewItem

You could snap it up for about £30.00 including postage and it's brand new.

I like the small clothes shops. Like Fashsion gal, forever 21. Target has lots of cute clothes too. My brother works at Nordstrom, and gets a really good discount. I just hate paying 150.00 for a pair of jeans, so I rarely by from there.

ya know, target really isn't a bad place to get clothes...for stuff like office casual dronewear that you don't wanna pay lots of money for, and for t-shirts and plain hoodies and stuff like that...i don't hate 'em!

I get most of our things at thrift stores too. And consignment shops, those crazy rich people clear out their closets so they can buy more over priced stuff and you can snap it up for next to nothing. All those brands everyone loves for pennies on the dollar. Most of it has never been worn.

I got a Burberry trench coat from my local thrift store for $9. It's going for $1,225 on the website. giggle

Really? lol There are H&Ms all over the world and the ones here in Holland are different. In fact, they're different in every city WITHIN Holland too, so you have to know which ones suit you, because the merchandise is different everywhere.

I did go in the one in the Mall once and I didn't like it at all. Everything looked really frumpy and just conservative and plain. confused How odd that you found it to be hipster-ish. hmmm Maybe they've changed their merchandise since then. But yeah, we don't really have "hipsters" here in Holland anyway. lol It's just a totally different scene, but I know exactly what you're talking about. nod I would have thought you'd say that about Urban Outfitters in fact. That place it hipster central! nuts

Plus, do "true" hipsters REALLY hang out at the Mall of America? hmmm

And Deja, I know what you're talking about. I used to shop there frequently and over the last year I find I spend an hour there trying desperately to find something I'll like and end up walking out with nothing.

If you vist one of the H&M's in Antwerp, you really can get a hipster overload. The other ones (even in Antwerp there are about 3 of them eek ) are okay.
I visit them often, next to Zara, sometimes Mango, Vero Moda and Mexx. And sometimes Cora Kemperman, don't know how well-known this is outside the Netherlands and Belgium, but there are very beautiful clothes in these collections love

I like NoaNoa-clothes (Danish clothes, I think) but they are way too expensive for me to have a real collection of.

I recently discovered there's some kind of similarity in the clothes I like. Most of them are Scandinavian: Vero Moda and Hennes and Mauritz for the basics everyone wears,...
