What is your favorite store to shop for clothes?

I love Express! Ooooh I just love their clothes. I like the music they play in there too.

BTW, have you guys noticed that the eighties style is so coming back? Like skinny jeans and pants with over sized shirts?

This is going to sound funny, but I've always had good luck shopping at J.C. Penney's. They always have nice clothes there.

I also shop out of catalogs a lot: Chadwicks, Willow Ridge, Bedford Fair. They have some nice clothes in there at decent prices.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I'm a big fan of the clearance racks at Macy's and Dillards. I'm also an internet shopping freak, so I get alot there also.

This may surprise a few people but I hate to shop for clothes. I absolutely hate it. Actually, I hate shopping in general.

That being said, I prefer:

Urban Outfitters
Urban Body
Bluefly.com <--pricey clothes at last season prices.
Hollister Co. : Their jeans make your ass look good, but heir printed shirts are cheaply made. Go with Old Navy if you want cheap printer shirts. At least Old Navy's prices are cheap, thanks to Saipan Garment worker sweat shops and Tom Delay.

Finally, I like the Ellenton Factory outlet 30 minutes south where I live.

Trust me folks, I hate to shop, but these places are nice bargain places to shop.

Oh yeah...and at Express the sales people are actually nice! Really...they are so helpful and not snotty.

Also I'm not gonna lie...I love getting clothes from Target! Do you know how many items I've gotten from that place and people are like "Oooh where did you get that???" I got this yellow jacket from there that cost like thirty bucks...everytime I wear it I get someone like "AHH that is so cool! Where did you get that?" I'm like Target...they are all eek . lol

Yeah Target's great for stuff that's pretty low-priced and still looks like you paid more for it...

My absolute favorite place to shop for clothes has to be Victoria's Secret...no seriously. lol

I'm diggin' Bluefly lately for shirts, the SweetPea stuff is killin' me love

Victoria's Secret usually has one item per catalogue that I just LOVE, all but the pants (they fit funny)...

Express isn't as good as it used to be but I still hit them for shirts/sweaters especially if I have somewhere to go...

Macy's & Nordstrom for whatever, but mainly coats & jackets

Urban Outfitters has the occassional cute item but I don't like their policies, they're always selling some incredibly racist shit... Abercrombie & Fitch has some cute jeans & pants, but I always get treated like shit there & that bugs me, I don't go anymore...

I'm tall so I tend to go w/ Alloy or Delias for pants (not jeans usually). They have inseams from 34" - 37"!!! omfg I love knowing there are jeans that are too long for me giggle

I'm trying to back off from this designer jeans thing but the pockets are so damn cute! Thinking about a pair of Taverniti So jeans but I swear I'm trying to resist boxed

Ann Taylor is good for classic pieces, as is Banana Republic & J. Crew but I rarely dress like that. I like stuff that's relaxed & not too fussy looking, like I wouldn't mind sitting on the floor in it. I gotta be cozy...

They've sold racist board games, racist T-shirts. People have to boycott them to get them to stop. It's pretty shitty...

I get most of our things at thrift stores too. And consignment shops, those crazy rich people clear out their closets so they can buy more over priced stuff and you can snap it up for next to nothing. All those brands everyone loves for pennies on the dollar. Most of it has never been worn.

it is truly amazing you can buy completely new stuff for $2, kids clothes and shoes especially - my son has the coolest converse sneakers $5, stickers still on the soles!

I guess the people who stock the shelves & make the decisions have no conscience about stuff like that. So it seems to take a boycott from a minority group to get it stopped. & even then I'm not sure it stops completely, they may just pull the item for a while. It's pretty sad, I guess most of their shoppers think it's harmless or funny neutral

nod It's insane, I would never pay full price for anything. My sister is a genious at finding good bargains, she spends very little and her whole family looks like the GotRocks. biggrin

never pay retail woot!
it's my hobby finding stuff lol people ask "where did you get that? I must go there one day" - but it's not that simple, I go there every week maybe twice and find one thing each time, just have to be lucky!

TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshalls..all discount stores but I love 'em..I pretty much refuse to buy anything unless its discounted or on sale...every now and then I'll pay full retail for something but its rare..when I do, its usually at a surf or skate shop...High tide (local shop), Pac Sun, Outter Limits, etc...
