Byron! Jack White's Coke Song Online Now!

OMG! I don't care if people think he's a sell-out or whatever. This is one of the best songs I've heard all year!!!

http://www.coca-cola.co.u...oesaround/

It's very, very retro.

I love it!!!

OMG OMG OMG...

I FUCKING LOVE JACK!!!! redface

I sent Byron the link last week.

giggle

The commercial is kinda a rip off of the Hardest Button to Button video and it really has nothing to do with Coke except the Ba, ba, ba's Jack throws in there from time to time. I kinda think it's kinda scary to be honest, cool song though...shame they are not going to show it in the USA. pout
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

falloff...It's our love child... nod

Yeah, Kim sent me a link to this commercial about a week ago, I think...I thought it made a better music video than it did a commercial for the cool, refreshing beverage that is Coke.. mr.green

the demise of the white stripes continues.....

3 years ago, jack white would have kicked your ass if you'd told him he'd do a coca cola commercial one day.....I guess the sales of their last album were a bit disappointing.....

It is very retro. Sounds like something maybe John Lennon solo might write or something.

Long ad though. As an ad, i dont see it being that good.

I heard Noel Gallagher diss Jack White for this, too. Said he was out of the 'club' now. Of course, I've seen Oasis songs used in Victoria's Secret and AT&T ads. So he's talking out of his ass.

How could Jack not do a Coke song? They have the right color scheme and everything! Writing an original song is not the same as using "Seven Nation Army" in a Tide commercial, imo. Still don't like the song, though.

Yeah in the next breath he said Jack looked like Zorro on dounuts. confused
I think he just says shit to the press to keep himself current.
Noel's an asswipe.
