This is an homage to one of my favorite comic artists of all time, the legendary George Perez:

i love his stuff! my favorite was his work on the teen titans, especially the whole storyline with terra going evil and getting killed. his work on wonder woman was hot too, and of course the old avengers stuff was fantastic. i love his style. so detailed, but at the same time so clean and classic. nod

Anxiety, get out of my brain.

The New Teen Titans were one of my faves. George Perez and John Byrne were my favorite artists ever.

OMG! Zattana. That was her name, wasn't it? I'm having flashbacks.

I had that post-Crisis Wonder Woman #1. It was a gatefold cover with more artwork on the back.

Does anybody remember that issue of 'The New Mutants' when the final frame of the story was a girl (possibly Kitty Pryde) crying on stage at a school assembly. She made some speech and it was along the lines of:

"It doesn't matter if you call somebody 'Mutie', 'Nig' or 'Faggot' - they're all words that hurt"

It was something like that. I think the mutant in question comitted suicide. He could create holographic sculptures from light-particles and everybody picked on him at school. It was published in 1985 or 1986. It really affected me.

He signed my copy of Amazing Spider-Man #50 and put a little spidey eyes sketch on it too. He was awesome, def. a highlight of my life to be able to sit and chat with him.

I would agree with that, HOWEVER, the stuff he's been doing in the past couple of years is, IMHO, on par with his 80s work.

BTW, he's going to be doing a new Brave & The Bold series for DC this year!!! drool
