i had a friend who used to do movie trivia on her outgoign voice mail message. one day i called and the trivia was 'name the movie the line "good morning starshine, the earth says hello" comes from.' in my voicemail, i said "hair."

she called me back, excitedly thinking she had finally gotten a wrong answer from em. (i am a walking encyclopedia of pointless movie knowledge, which drives my competitive friends insane)

my trivial and encyclopedic knowledge particularly drives ryan nuts, as we are both murderously competitive board game players, much to the annoyance of chris, ryan's boyfriend, and steven, my roomate. i almost always win. it drives ryan insane. the other night i beat the hell out of him and steven in two games of scrabble, his response to which was a sullen "well, i beat you in uno attack earlier. (which he didn't. we played one round to teach steven, and rather than play a whole game, opted for the first game of scrabble.)

the last time before that was the two games of farkle i won, the second win of which really annyoed ryan because i wasn't even trying anymore, i just wanted the game to be over so i could smoke a cigarette and go to bed).

and god help us, trivial pursuit (90s edition) which i win every time we play, which now numbers in the double digits.

he gets so mad.

I fucking loved his clothes in that film. Any idea where I can get them?
