ok, i will respond seriously to this thread.
as of tomorrow morning, i will officially not be sick anymore. after three weeks of staying at home being a big sad sickie, i'm going back to work! for those of you who don't know, for the past month i've been extremely sick with an infection that caused me to have daily high grade fevers. and by "daily", i mean i would wake up, feel normal, and after a few hours my temperature would rise to about 103 or 104 degrees and i'd have to stay in bed and just ride it out until my fever would break at the end of the day, and (hopefully) by bedtime my temperature would be normal again. and the same thing would happen the next day. and the day after that. and so on. this continued for about three weeks. i also lost my appetite, partially from the fevers and partially because everything i tried to eat tasted disgusting. all i could eat was rice, bland soup and things like mashed potatoes. anything with flavor was repulsive to me. also, i drank LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of gatorade. now i'm better. WAY better. i'd say i'm just about 100%, but i'm waiting for my doctor to officially give me a clean bill of health. but i haven't had any fevers for over a week, and i'm climbing the walls to get back to my regular routine. AND i lost 20 pounds! even better, i have a VERY limited appetite for coffee and certain rich foods since i got sick, and i've somehow obtained a craving for fruit juices and light carbonated beverages that don't have caffeine. if anything, getting this sickness has kinda left me healthier than before i got sick. so. that's how i am. i'm kinda nervous about going back to work, but i'm SO looking forward to it.

I used to be addicted to that shit in high school. it's been one of my sickie drinks the past few weeks. i used to drink it all the time in high school, too. they used to make those great big glass bottles of it, but these days all you can get are the smaller bottles. the stuff still makes for great belches, though.

(i can hug you now because i don't have the cooties anymore) i was rockin' the green tea, the yerba mate, the pear tea...even plain unsweetened iced tea tasted like heaven when i was sick. i've never been so sick that i've been laid up for anywhere near a month. i'd like to say that i had some kind of spiritual epiphany, but really all i did was watch a bunch of DVDs and drink tons of crazy beverages like clearly canadian and juicy juice.
