Hey Krystal, I always like reading your posts!

I've been to a couple of lap dancing bars here in Liverpool and all the girls were not only gorgeous looking but seemed intelligent and obviously only in it for the good money they make. (like u as well by the sound of it)

But some of the guys in there were obviously drunk and were groping and being disrepectful to the girls. Is it worth it? how do you handle guys like that?

Yeah there is alot of guys like that. You just have to hold their hands. Sometimes a bouncer will come over and tell him to stop but as soon as he leaves the guys starts up again...I can deal with those guys...the guys I hate are the ones that try to date you, and "Oh come back to my hotel room..".. guys will give you their number or hotel room keys all the time...they always go right in the trash! But with situtations like that you have to be careful...you can't say no...cuz you are trying to get their money..but you can't say yes...cuz you are not going to do it...so I just give evasive awnsers..usually that works. I don't know...you have to be really good at dealing with people...know what to say...know what not to say...it's more mentally exausting than physically sometimes.

Girl, you are an exemplary young woman So much self respect and you really show those who might, not to judge you and every other woman in your profession. I admire you for that, as you seem very grounded and happy with your life!

Yes I am a very down to earth, grounded person who treats other's with respect. Sometimes I think people that are mean just never had someone be nice to them before.

I don't mean for it to sound like dancing is ALWAYS great and everything about it is wonderful...because belive me there are days I just break down in tears...but for the most part...I love my life and I have learned alot about people AND myself since I started dancing. And I have met some REALLY facinating women too!

Yes I don't feel degraded at all..if fact dancing has made me realise how much power women have over men. I don't really like to say POWER over men...but women are ALWAYS in control really.

But really it can be a hard job..alot of girls ARE lost, into drugs, have low self esteem, get into prostitution...it can be depressing to see these things...

...some of the guys that come in ther ARE creepy, alot of men I think like to take their frustrations about women on you verbally...sometimes I feel like a trash can where they can just dump all this negitive energy and hostility and that is really what they are paying you for...

...but then sometimes it is great! I don't know...gotta take the good with the bad.

well- i admit to being alil enamored a few times with a stripper or 2 ... hee hee .... usually after a lot of alcohol and well ... late at night to say the least ... altho i never groped or gave her keys (i dont get stupid drunk or ever really "think " she would go home with me ! )

i actually was tortured one night by a stripper .... i was like 25 or so ... and this gal was probably 34 ... not the prettiest stripper but she did want to take me home ... kissed me .... etc ... that was one of the FIRST times i was at a strip place --- so it ruined me !!! in the end - i was with guys ... and my other head got the better of me -- and of course .... i imagined some huge ex-boyfr being at her apartment !!!

after i graduated from college--- they opened a major "more classy" establishment near my college and --- well ... i had been there a few times when i did think about it from a business side of things - and realized how these gals DO have to live ... support themselves , etc ... and i admit ... it got old ... (not that i went there alot .... but other guys i know did )

NOT that i dont appreciate them and their beauty ...

which brings up another ??? ... i had this conversation recently with a "abave avg cute" bartender .... she was pushing 30--- and tryin to imagine what she was gonna do ... when she "loses her looks " and therefore her huge paychecks --- yes i was floored when she told me what she made last yr .... or ("about what she made)... but she was smart ... about it ... and was saying how she doesnt wanna be a 44 yr old bartender in some hick bar with cigarette voice ... ...

I think that if sex for hire were legalized (and standardized with unions and such) that would take the titilation (and possibly degradation) out of the whole strip scene...it would be as passé in the States as it is in parts of Europe and just something people do as a tourist activity in the "Red Zone" on a Friday night

You've talked about how you deal with annoying, gropy guys, but how do you feal about dancing for men you find absolutely unattractive or even revolting? Totally drunk, bear belly, bad breath, nasty... You must have had such men on a couple of occasions.

Whenever I see male strippers (and I've only seen them on TV), I just have to laugh because they look so ridiculous. I'm just REALLY not into overly muscular, tan, greased up guys in thong underwear trying way too hard to be sexy. It's not at ALL sexy to me in any way, shape, or form.


As for female strippers, I guess I'm just neutral about them. I feel totally desensitized to their look since I feel like I see them every day just flipping through magazines, and TV channels, videos, etc. Just about every woman who is considered "hot" these days has that "stripper chic" look now. So that in turn makes it ordinary for me. Nothing special or unique.

They don't know...they are Catholic...I don't think they could handle it...plus my father is from Brazil so strip clubs in Brazil are like...umm...full service so I think he is under the impression that American clubs are the same (I mean I guess some are but I don't do that and I don't see anything like that where I work thank god (I'm sure stuff that is not suppose to happen happens but I'm not expected to do anything naughty so.....I don't think he would belive me though.
