I bought flowers because I guess I'd rather be surprised when someone buys them for me unexpectedly, rather than expecting flowers and then being upset/disappointed because I didn't get them. I rec'd a plant & flower arrangement in a beautiful clay planter from someone I work with- not my bosses but someone who is above me that I help out a lot.. It was very nice..

It was the day from hell so it was a nice surprise

Yes it is - I am not really titled an administrative assistant but that is one of the duties I perform..
We do clinical research trials for medications and today we had 5 Alzheimers pts in and it is so exhausting to do all of the testing on them and they have to be at our office all day. It is very stressful and I really needed to feel appreciated today- It was nice....

It is not easy to be the one that does all of the shit that no one else wants to do... I hear my name about 1000 times a day.. gets old sometimes..
ahhh- just had to vent... worked 10 hrs straight no lunch or break... I am exhausted..
