Men Behind the Sun (Hei tai yang 731)

Has anyone seen this movie? eek

http://www.amazon.com/gp/...ance&n=130

From IMDB:

Plot Outline: Japanese troops round up Chinese and Russian prisoners of war and take them to a place called Squadron 731, where they are grotesquely tortured and experimented on to test new biological weapons.

.....a man is put into decompression chamber and the pressure is steadily increased until he shoots intestines out of his anus-actually Mous used a real corpse to make this scene.

There is also incredibly graphic autopsy of a young mute boy-a real cadaver was used for this sequence.....

....scene where a real cat is attacked and consumed by literally thousands of starving rats is incredibly vile and unnecessary.

I'm not going to directly link to the last scene described, but it is on google for the necrophiliacs amongst you. barf

I was thinking the same until I came across this on amazon.com

On one hand, "Men Behind the Sun" is a disturbing, yet informational, look at the human atrocities the Japanese performed upon Chinese captives. From a simply educational point of view, this film speaks volumes to those who wish to learn more about the tragedies that took place during World War II.

On the other hand, those who wish to view this movie because of its rather blatant disclaimer of graphic violence and brutality may be left a little unhappy.

I dont know Gary, the scenes you've described dont sound so educational, more like gratuitous blood and gore, not sure if I could stomach something this extreme.
