whats the deal with the daily news papers having nekkid girls on page 3?

There not naked man they r only showing their boobies however its a kinda traditional thing 4 some tabloids 2 have "page 3" girls on erm...page 3 of their papers.I dont know where it started from but hey i am not complaining
