Is the lesbian girl still alive? I think she was the one that jumped out of a plane in the very first episode. Later, she shook Pres. Palmer's hand and made him sick with some bacteria or something. More of her and Nina. Mandy. Christian Zombie Vampires

Whatevs. that was BAD, Anx accidentally gave me a spoiler on that when I was working thru that season. I was happy though. was I not waiting for it, I would've been mad. As it was I just LAUGHED my ass off. That was right up there with kim being chained to the rocks with wolves or whatever circling her. WHY DIDN'T SHE GET EATEN??!!! Please, for gawds sake, let Kim stay pissed/absent for the last 3 seasons. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

The movie idea sucks, but Jack Bauer and Kiefer Sutherland are so cool that I don't care.
Jack Bauer is the hardest man alive. He is untouchable and so cool - I love his stone cold decisiveness and occasional flairs of utter evil. Reminds me of myself, but more masculine and muscular and actually capable of doing something. Kiefer is just cool. Remember: Jack bauer doesn't eat honey...he chews bees.

I think a prequel would be the best way to make this exciting and different - otherwise, what's the point? Why show 2 hours of 'highlights' of a 24-hour period, when we get the full thing in a season on TV? It would basically be a clip-show.
Personally I'd love to see some of Jack's training (and mentoring by Henderson, perhaps) - some of the defining moments that made Jack the dude he is.

Anx said: now if they had audrey go down in blazes in the 24 movie, i'd go see that. i don't like her. i want to see her get the nina meyers treatment so jack can hook up with chloe and they can bicker all the time.
"DAMN it!" "FINE!" "I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!" "SHUT UP!" I'm only half-way through the fourth season, but darn it! If you're talking about wanting Audrey to die, that means she lives through the Araz family's plans to blow up America. Shit! I don't care for her. (Still, she's 10x's less annoying than Kate. That woman acted with her eyebrows and forehead only. She irritated the f*** out of me.) Back to Audrey. Is it just me, or does she look like Liz Phair? "She made me glad to be a man"

They did show him eating on one episode, while he was waiting to be interrogated or some damn thing. And he can sleep tomorrow. Those things don't bug me as much as stupid shit like the airplane crash. Or the absurd technology they have (you can zoom in close enough to read the tag on somebody's underwear from a mile away? Really?). Or the impossible-but-required-for-plot facts/situations (I'm watching season 3 right now. . . a virus that kills the person within 24 hours and isn't contagious for the first 14, but that will somehow spread fast enough to kill 20% of the population of LA in a week? Did anybody think to run this by, say, a doctor?. . . and Jack going through severe heroin withdrawals, except when he's busy doing something important, in which case he's fine. . . But I still love the fucking show. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "24" star Kiefer Sutherland has inked a multifaceted deal with 20th Century Fox Television. The rich pact, which is set to begin in June, calls for the actor to continue on the hit Fox drama for three more years and includes a two-year development deal for Sutherland's soon-to-be-launched production banner. Details on the deal were sketchy, but sources pegged the acting portion alone at more than $40 million for the three seasons, which could make Sutherland the highest-paid actor in drama series. While the deal with Sutherland locks him in for three additional years beyond the current fifth season of "24," the 20th TV/Imagine TV-produced show so far has been picked up for one additional season. I sooooo want to see damn season 5 NOW! Just about everyone is dead by now, right? No, don't answer. Well... you can, I know it anyway. NO, DON'T! The DVD is due out in September in the UK... I don't know, should I download the crap?
