Name a positive woman celebrity off the top of your head

Tooka while didnt it?

I was watching oprah and she had Pink as a guest. The subject was how America's women are dumbening themselves for men's sexual habitats.

Its just sad Amerika, we just saaad.

these days at least, patti smith has an overflowing abundance of positivity. whenever i read an interview with her, i always get a little weepy eyed at how warm'n'fuzzy she gets.

right off the top of my head? here we go...

madonna
oprah
jennifer anniston
nicole kidman
gwyneth paltrow (though, personally i can't deal with her)
tyra banks
martha stewart (yes, martha stewart)
barbara walters
katie couric

i think there's a bunch out there; i could go on for a while. if you want my honest opinion, i think oprah would like to pretend there are few positive female celebs because SHE wants to be seen as an anomaly.

But do u think these lil kids growin up are gonna pay any atention to them? Maybe Tyra & Maddy of course but....its the glorification of the dumbness of celeb's (i.e. Paris / Anna Nicole / Britney n them..) that gets all the attention.

Put Queen Latifah on my list nod

I feel so strongly about making sure that this woman was added to the list that I just spent about an hour finding her story.

Which is amazing because her testimony just happened last week.

i disagree because i think the parises, the britneys, the anna nicoles, they're trends and they're forgotten or, worse, enjoyed solely for the purpose of laughing at them. the difference is the in the word "respect." nobody respects paris hilton (and little kids who do will be sure to outgrow that, lol).
