We as human beings are not very smart and tend to not know what we have until it's gone. So, some of us do lose our soul mates in the process of searching for what we THINK we don't have (with them) or for that something more "better".

That's true, but life has twists and turns and you never know if you're going to connect again. Who knows, even death might not be the end ofr the relationship.

I agree with Sweeney..

I believe that we bring certain souls into our lives to grow, to evolve.

A soul mate is not just a lover, it is a friend, a family member.

I don't mean to sound off topic but do you guys think a friend not just a lover could be a soulmate as well?

When I was 5 years old I made friends with someone (no names mentioned for personal reasons) He was my best friend ever. We remained friends throughout school, after we left school we where friends, but not as close as we should have been, obviously life takes us all through different roads.

When I was 30 my friend died in a car crash on his way home from work to his family.

He was my soulmate, for many reasons, I will never forget the laughs and silly things we did in our youth, all the trouble we got into.

So I guess no, Soulmates never lose each other. smile

Once you love somebody, you don't ever un-love them. If you ever do feel like you don't love them anymore, it wasn't really love in the first place.
