I'm for the environment and somewhat liberal, however I don't think I quite fit into this category do to my strong captalist leanings.

And many liberals aren't opposed to capitalism. They are opposed to unchecked capitalism where it's possible for a corporation like Halliburton to ship in cheap (possibly illegals) labor to help with Katrina cleanup/reconstruction and pay the workers $5.00 an hour and then charge the taxpayer $20 per hour of labor worked.

Not only that but the fact that they were importing this labor meant that the people who needed the jobs the most, the locals, were S.O.L. Capitalism works very well for this nation but there should be checks so that corporations cannot abuse people and rip off the American public.
