bizarre things that people do that you say you would never do, but then you kinda do it anyway

THEM: wait outside wal-mart or some other retail place at 3:00 am on Black Friday trying to get some great deal on some merchandise mad

ME: wait outside small club in DC at 4 pm for the doors to open at 10 pm, and then stand in front of a stage for 2 more hours, to watch a 90 minute show.

I once stood in line in the freezing cold for 6 hours with friends to purchase Prince tickets. omg And no, we didn't get tickets, they were sold out before we got to the window. This was for a Prince show in Detroit back in 1993. The good news is that we were able to get tickets to go, but it took making some phone calls to get them.
