Yay or Nay


i had to join the yay or nay threads

Big yay. Just make sure you have the rest of the day off, and you're around people that you feel comfortable with.

We used to eat em with Animal Crackers, to kinda hide the taste.

I use to work with a guy that would drop "shrooms" on our shift together.

It was kinda great because he would clean like a mad man.

But I use to worry about him getting a bad one or something.

have done it, puked like a dog, but liked it otherwise. better than acid and safer

oh, so yay, but probably not at this point in my life.

Hmm... much harsher on the tummy...and eating them sucks ass (though I have found a way that's not too bad). But I have had lovely times.

Me too. I used to love them. Much more natural feeling than acid, but lacks the revelatory thoughts. It's more of a visual thing to me.

It's best to be out in nature or at least a place where others are doing it too--like a great concert. People can look ugly and technology/society can seem foreign.

Also, your situation & mental state is 90% of the trip, so make sure you do it when you're happy and the situation allows you to be out of it for a long time--preferably 2 days so you have time to recover.

The crazy thing someone once told me about tripping is that your body is being tricked into thinking it's dying, and that the cliche about your life flashing before your eyes is essentially what the trip is. Makes some sense, since most substances that make you trip are mild poisons.

It's somewhat a thrill, but much of the people who do it have to get ill first.

It starts with a squemish belly, and within a half hour you are puking your guts out, but then the lights come on and the show starts. it is worth the trip.
