Ex-Moderator | Do you iron your sheets? Cause like, every single time I wash my sheets they come out all wrinkly. And I always put them on my bed straight after and they never fully unwrinkle.

My sheets are smooth and comfortable. No need to iron.
My balls are very wrinkly most of the time though. I like the juxtiposition of my wrinkly balls up against smooth 600+ count egyption cotton.

I know. It seems so silly. But I get annoyed at the wrinkly sheets. I haven't ever ironed them. But I wonder how else to keep them from being all wrinkly. |

If I had more time, I would iron our sheets when I take them out of the dryer. But in the summer, I like to dry them outside because they smell so good from the air and sunshine. Then ironing would make the outdoor smell fade faster.

The best thing to do (next to ironing which will not happen in my house) is to put them on the bed hot out of the drier. Joy's housekeeping tip of the day I'm firmly planted in denial

I don't bother ironing them. I figure they're going to be covered up with a bedspread or some other blanket anyway, so no one will ever see them but the people that sleep on them.

It's not for the way they look, it's the way ironing makes them feel all smoothy smooth. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

It's not for the way they look, it's the way ironing makes them feel all smoothy smooth. I use both fabric softner and then a fabric sheet (Bounce) in the dryer. They're pretty smooth. ...but when I finally get to bed at around 2 or 3am, I'm not too worried about the sheets.

Try drying them without the blanket in the drier and with a little extra fabric softener in the wash. Let me know how it goes I'm firmly planted in denial

No. My Mom owns a dry cleaner, and I send them out to her laundry guy so they come back clean and pressed.

In case anyone was wondering why I'm still up, it's cause my comforter is still in the drier. |
