And I've been accused of being a hippy. I mean, look, I'm vegan and I recycle. I don't vote for Republicans. I believed in the reality of human-induced global warming back when it was only, you know, the majority of expert scientists in the field who said it was happening. I've taken a couple of classes in environmental science and ethics/philosophy. To some people, this makes me a hippy.

Edit: one year, when I was prolly 12 or 14, I couldn't stand the idea of throwing away our little reject xmas tree, so I hauled it out into the backyard and propped it against a big tree. It stayed green until the spring. It was freaky and cute.
