So I downloaded this computer video game, StarWars Empire @ War, it was a demo of a game that just came out. I was thinking about buying the game if I liked it.

It took me over two days to figure out a stragertie to defeat my enemies. However after my plan worked out without flaw, and all there were left was tinny little fighters, the game wouldn't let me with.

This was on the easy setting.

Somehow, one little fighter, slipped past my entire force, like 20 squads, and b-booped around long enough for this broken down space station to respawn more fighters. I had to play an hour and a half like that.

Then, at the very second I am without a doubt about to win the game. I am just about to distroy the last fighter. The game freezes up.

Mind you this was all on easy.

I don't know what they were thinking, but I am sure it wasn't "how can we lose sales" when they put out the demo. That is what they did.

So I take it they lost the sell.

OH MY GOD, that is the worst! I was playing game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals on NHL on my xbox last month, I played the whole season, was winning by one goal with 2 minutes left in the third period, and it TOTALLY froze on me.

Yep, there were some problems with the demo, but the full game has been patched. I don't think they have a patch for the demo. I'm still going to buy it at some point.

But when I figure out a stragertie, and it goes off with out a flaw, and then I should win, but the game won't let me win, what's that about?

I had 10 Y-Wing Squards
I had 5 X-Wing Squards

All in good shape after distroying the two major battle ships and rendering the spacestation inoperatable!

It would seem all I had to do was mop up, but always somehow one little next to death fighter of their's would get away alowing for more time for the spawning of more fighters and bombers.

However, at that, I played an hour and a half until I was about to distroy the last fighter. The game freezes up at the moment I do so.

I found it easy to win the space battle if I used the Y-wings against the capital ships and the base, and use the X-wings against any small craft. Use the X-Wings s-foils in attack position, change the Y-wings' firing to ion cannons, and let them rip...taking on one ship at a time, then the base last.

I had some "transports" of troops ships. I would send them off in one sector of the map. The Transporter ships can take alot of punishment, and they attrack fighters and bombers like shit does attract flys.

This would leave the Large battle ships unattended, and then I would send a grouping of about 5 y-wings and a coule x wings to attack the ship. they would make light work of both, then they would make light work of the space station.
