Where are Warner bros and universal? WB gave up after the very good "iron giant" (which iam pretty sure bombed) and universal? God knows? They use to deal through spielbergs old amblin i think? But of course, that got merged into dreamworks with geffan and Katzenberg.

Iron Giant was great! I love that film. I remember a couple of years ago that the Cartoon Network played it a bunch of times right around the Christmas season. thumbs up!

u know, turner (as in of course, ted turner) use to make a few toons. Remember these 2?

tom and jerry movie, where they talk? confused ANyway, nicely enough animated though

"pagemaster" was turner going for disney and bluth. Then big star voicing and starring as the hero with kulkin and whoopi goldberg, patrick stewart etcc... as voices.

Even had a hit song called "dream away", a duet between babyface and lisa stansfield. Good soundtrack (own the cd LOL, nice score too). Nice idea for a film ("books are actually fun to read kids" message was a nice attempt).

By the time "Pagemaster" came out. Kulkin was on the way down, shame.

Oh yeah, I think it'd be okay for them. smile

I wil borrow it from the library for them then! woot!

Supposedly the MPAA rated it PG for "fantasy action and mild language." I don't remember any mildly offensive language in it. confused

Eh...it'll still be okay. smile

ha, bingo, i havn't seen that since i was a nipper lol

Well, as i said, they both come from the same company. It would be cool if u found them "the pagemaster", as its kinda forgotten. As i said, it has a good message for kids, and i like the fact they tried to make reading sound like great fun.

tom and jerry the movie? Barely remember it. I own pagemaster somewhere? And maybe even tom and jerry movie. I could lend them to u lol (it'll work too as both put vidoe systems use PAL)

Anyway, i do reccomend pagemaster. Not a fantastic film, but great messege for kids.

Ice Age II is getting GREAT reviews over here. They're saying it's better than the first movie.

wendy moten-whatever u imagine

"Whatever you imagine
Can one day come to be....
There are dreams to awaken,
Roads to be taken.
Follow them and they will set you free...
Whatever you imagine
Is where your heart can go.
There are worlds filled with treasure,
Time without measure,
To learn whatever you may need to know.
Imagine,
And you and I can fly past the sun
And leave all our doubts and fears behind us.
You see, that's just what can happen
When you look inside your mind.
There's no limit to the wonders you can find!
Whatever you imagine
Can make your life brand-new.
There are miracles waiting,
So keep concentrating
And I promise you that if you do.....
Whatever you imagine can come true..... "

I use to play this song, even as a 15/16 year old. Kinda sad, but it got me through soe tough times (as iam a bi lover of corny songs from that era) Its from "the pagemaster". I need to find that CD. And film for that matter.

hmm, i like that poster. Macauley was a legend when i was young
