I'm 25, what should I be doing? So I'm 25 years old. My best friend is also turning 25 this week.
What were you doing at 25? If you're not 25, what do you expect to have established by this age?

Currently, I'm single, and not rushing to meet anyone.
Currently, my job sucks but my hobby is awesome. Currently, I am renting at a shared accomodation and have no plan yet to buy a house. Currently, I have a car I am paying off. Currently, I'm thinking about going back to college and have no outstanding student debts.

I'll be 25 this year.
I intend to own property outright by the end of 2006. Aside from that, I'll probably sit around in my room a lot drinking tea and nothing-ing my life away.

I saw someone from my job get pregnant last year. She had her baby in December and I got to meet the family last week. While it was moving, I just can't imagine myself in that space.

Do whatever the hell you want to do. Don't settle down so young though. Save that for the thirties and up if you are going to do it at all. Don't limit yourself so early. Your 20's are your prime years. Have as much fun as possible. When i was 25 i was having fun and doing my pretty ex girlfriend.

I know, I'm kinda thinking I could do all these settling things (ie. owning property) after 30 if I want to. Currently I'm still living like a college student who doesn't go to school. I could be getting laid more often. Thanks Spats.

Thing is this. I don't feel like owning a property because I don't know what city I want to be in for years and years and years because I don't feel stable in my career. I want to be able to move. Yet, I haven't moved in 2.5 years!

You have to meet tons of women before you can know who your "Partner in life to be" is. I have met sooo many women and been with my share and i still have yet to meet or know any that i would ever want to spend the rest of my life with. hell it's hard to find a woman who you want to spend more than 20 minutes with. @ 25 as long as you have a decent job that you dont mind working at then enjoy life for awhile. Just be smart about your choices as many of them can come back to haunt you later.
