thats a fucked up test man.....

first, they tell you to click your right hand for all the positive words....

then, they switch and tell you that now your LEFT hand is for the positive words....

although, during each, they are showing photos of black and white faces....

at the end, when you are used to putting the positive words on the right...

they try to say you "prefer" white

falloff

Your data suggest a slight automatic preference for Gay People compared to Straight People.

Haha, I can't stop automatically selecting "good" when the word "nasty" appears on the screen.

falloff

What are they trying to suggest me that "nasty" is a negative attribute?

Your data suggest little to no automatic preference between Young and Old.

I had a slight preference for white over black and a moderate preference for gay over straight.

Interesting. hmmm

I understand the method they're using here, but I'm not exactly convinced by the validity of it.

Yeah, it is a little tricky. I think it takes a few goes to get the hang of it. In the beginning I think you're too concerned with grappling with the coordination to really reliably betray any subconscious prejudices.

Absolutely. Mine stated I have a strong preference for straight people over gay people. 3/4 of my friends are gay. I barely know any straight people. It's not possible that's true. lol

During the Straight/Gay test, I kept confusing the one cake-topper thingie for two lesbian women. One was obviously two women, but the other one looked like a feminine woman and a butch one. I think that may have biased my results a little.

Yeah, I'm so over-orged that I just assume anything and anyone is gay so I think my results may have been skewed somewhat also. smile

It's a fun game but hardly a good indicator for a person's subconscious feelings about group X. The left and right hand operate from opposite sides of the brain, so all switching the sides on the test does is fuck up your coordination. lol

Perhaps if the person taking the test were completly ambidextrous, the readings may indicate something, but not so for the rest of us who only have one really useful hand.

I have a significant preference for aplication tests that are not set up with an inherant natural bias.
